Configuring Palm Pre Mail:

Make sure you have an active wireless network connection before following these steps.

1. Tap the Mail icon on the home dock.
2. NOTE: If there are no email addresses created, the Palm Pre prompts you to log into the phone using Palm Pre credentials.
3. From the Email menu, select Preferences & Accounts.
4. Tap Add Account.
5. From the Email menu, select Manual Setup.
6. From the Mail Type list, select IMAP or POP.
7. Enter your Email Address. This should be in the form username@onid.orst.edu.
8. Complete the Incoming Mail Server information as follows:
   • Server Name - imap.onid.oregonstate.edu
   • Username - your ONID username
   • Password - your ONID password
   • Port - IMAP with SSL - 993
   • Encryption - SSL
9. Complete the Outgoing Mail Server information as follows:
   • Server Name - mail.oregonstate.edu
   • Use Authentication - On
   • Port - With SSL - 465
   • Encryption - SSL
   • Root Folder - leave blank
10. Tap the Sign In button to save the new account and sign in.
